NATHAN WILLCOCK: THE GREEDY UGLY PEOPLE
Nathan Willcock, Chortle Student Comedian Runner Up 2013, previews his debut show. He will be exploring his own failure with women alongside the failure of British politics over the last few years, but he has not forgotten to write jokes and will say them to. “A slick and silly joke writer” Steve Bennett.
Nathan Willcock has been doing stand-up since 2010. At one point he was running four separate nights in his university town of Norwich, including one, ‘Dodger’s Comedy Bunker,’ in the basement of his own house!

“All the makings of a good stand up…a promising future in comedy” Jon Briley
“if you ever have the chance to meet this comic, never ask him about what documentaries he watches in his spare time.” The Norwich Tab
Nathan Willcock breaks the ice with a splendid prop-based visual pun, and later demonstrates a silly physical side, too. His set is deftly constructed, in which disparate elements from his political references to his lack of success with women, via his unlikely catchphrase, tie together smartly. He, too, is a robust , versatile writer who’d fit easily into any club line-up, and that gained him joint second place. - Steve Bennett, Chortle
